Introduction

Hi, my name is Chris.
I'm from Vancouver, in Canada. I'm an English Teacher with NOVA at the Multimedia Centre in Osaka, Japan. I came to Japan with my Canadian girlfriend, and we've been in Japan since August 2003. I came to Japan because I love to travel, and I thought it would be exciting to live and work in a different country.

Why did you make this website?
I want to help my students use the Internet in English. I want to share some things that I find interesting.

What are your hobbies?
I like to travel. I like to cook. I like to watch movies and I like to make music on my iBook computer.

What's your education?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in "Art and Culture Studies" and a diploma in "Community Economic Development" from Simon Fraser University. I speak French because I was in a special French Immersion program in High School.

How did you get the job at NOVA?
I found out about NOVA on their website, and was interviewed and hired in Vancouver.

What's your favourite country?
Sorry. Japan's great, but my favourite is Italy. Italian cities are so beautiful, and their culture is so rich. I think that Italian food is the best in the world. I spent 6 weeks in Italy, but it wasn't enough. I would love to return one day.
